Cybersecurity is becoming a key sales tool in healthcare, according to Chris Carmody, chief technology officer of UPMC.

The global healthcare giant is valued at €22 billion and has 1,100 people working across its Irish locations in Carlow, Cork, Kildare, Kilkenny and Waterford. Carmody told Connected that the Kilkenny operation, which houses UPMC’s global technology operations centre (GToc), was crucial to the company’s growth going forward.
