Tech tycoons pump $7m into mystery audio venture
Angel investors in new London-based project include Web Summit founder Paddy Cosgrave and iPod inventor Tony Fadell
Liam Casey, the tech manufacturing tycoon, and Paddy Cosgrave, the founder of Web Summit, are among the angel investors putting $7 million into a new, as yet unnamed, hardware venture.
TechCrunch reported last week that Carl Pei, a Swedish tech entrepreneur, has raised $7 million from investors including Tony Fadell, the inventor of the iPod; Steve Huffman, the boss of Reddit; Kevin Lin, the co-founder of Twitch; Casey Neistat, the YouTube, along with Casey and Cosgrave.
