Synova, an Irish co-founded private equity firm, intends to back more companies in Ireland after closing a new £875 million (€1.04 billion) fund.

The London-based growth investor has primarily targeted British companies to date, but David Menton, its co-founder and a Dubliner, said the firm was keen to increase deal flow here.
