Virgin Media Ireland has recorded a decline in subscribers despite the number of homes in which its services are available continuing to rise.

The telecoms and broadband provider has recorded turnover of €113.7 million for its second quarter, down 0.4 per cent on an annual basis, with an increase in mobile subscribers partly offsetting lower fixed revenues.
