The High Court has approved Three Ireland’s application for a stay on a new auction for the awarding of spectrum band for mobile and wireless broadband services that include 5G.

The mobile operator sought the stay while it awaits a judgment on its main challenge to a decision by the communications regulator, ComReg, in late 2020 to hold the multi-brand spectrum award which will assign rights across what are known as the 700MHz, 2.1GHz, 2.3GHz ...
