Furthr VC announces final close of its €32 million Irish smart tech fund

The fund, which is focused on globally scalable Irish software and medical device companies, is backed by more than 35 investors, including Enterprise Ireland

Furthr VC has announced the final close of its smart tech fund, which has grown to €32 million from €23 million, with 20 new investors coming onboard.

First announced in December 2019 with the aim of investing in up to 30 globally scalable Irish software and medical device companies, the final close of the fund was delayed by the Covid crisis.
