Dublin-headquartered Fonoa raises $60m from investors

Digital tax automation platform was recently named as one of two Irish companies most likely to achieve unicorn status

Fonoa, a tax automation platform, has raised $60 million in funding less than a year after securing $20 million from investors.

The company has developed a tax automation solution that quickly calculates and reports taxes to authorities on behalf of digital-first companies such as Uber, Zoom and Booking.com. Fonoa was recently named along with Tines as the two Irish companies most likely to achieve “unicorn” status, achieving a market valuation of $1 billion-plus.
