Cumulus Neuroscience secures investment for its ‘Fitbit for the brain’

Belfast-based firm is behind a headset that monitors for conditions such as dementia, schizophrenia and depression

Cumulus Neuroscience headset: its developers have raised €13 million from undisclosed investors

Cumulus Neuroscience, which has developed a wearable headset which measures cognitive fitness, has secured £11.1 million (€13 million) from undisclosed investors.

The investment values the Belfast-based company at close to £20 million.

Formerly known as BrainWaveBank, Cumulus has developed a “Fitbit for the brain”, which uses advanced analytics and machine learning to monitor for conditions such as dementia, schizophrenia and depression.
