The rise of artificial intelligence has presented journalists with another major challenge but offers the potential for innovation that must be embraced too

There are numerous professions under threat from artificial intelligence but with journalism already on its knees, there is concern that AI may finally kill off much of the mainstream media in the years to come

Journalism may not be held in quite as high a regard as it once was but with generative AI models such as ChatGPT eager to exploit what is produced in newsrooms, that content could become an extremely valuable commodity.
