Cemetery management software company PlotBox raises £5m
The North firm’s technology, once described as a ‘Google Maps for cemeteries’, is used to locate and manage graves
PlotBox, a Co Antrim-based company that has developed a mapping solution to identify where burial plots are, has secured £5 million (€5.8 million) in investment.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Seán and Leona McAllister, PlotBox provides a cloud-based software service that cross-references drone location imagery and information gleaned via geographic information system (GIS) mapping to accurately pinpoint where graves are located.
