AI Act will be ‘like GDPR on steroids’, says tech expert

The EU’s proposed new legislation, designed to regulate the development of artificial intelligence, has received a cautious welcome from stakeholders here

Europe may have secured bragging rights after agreeing the first comprehensive set of rules on artificial intelligence (AI) last week, but whether or not these rules will be effective remains to be seen.
