‘The idea of becoming a unicorn doesn’t excite me,’ says Workvivo head after Zoom buyout

Workvivo chief executive John Goulding has said he was more motivated by the huge expansion opportunities the company would gain from becoming part of Zoom, than by the idea of becoming a tech unicorn.

Speaking publicly for the first time since the acquisition of the Cork-based employee engagement company by the video conferencing platform, Goulding said Workvivo was already growing at 100 per cent year on year prior to the deal.
