Six in ten tech leaders are not investing in AI

New study highlights gaps in AI investment and policy in the tech sector

Interest in artificial intelligence is not transferring into investment, new research has suggested, as over 60 per cent of Irish leaders have not purchased AI technologies and do not have an AI strategy in place.

Just 13 per cent of the 150 senior technology leaders surveyed as part of an EY Ireland study said they were developing their own large language models or generative AI (GenAI) tools.
