Lithuanian regulators revoke licence of payments firm Payrnet

Bankruptcy proceedings are due to start this week against the company, which issues gift cards for many Irish shopping centres

Regulators in Lithuania have revoked the license of Payrnet, a payments firm that issues gift cards on behalf of many of Ireland’s biggest shopping centres.

The move means the company cannot provide any financial services and must return all funds to customers.
