AMD to create nearly 300 jobs in $135m investment

Semiconductor company AMD is to double headcount in Ireland with the creation of close to 300 highly skilled engineering and research jobs as part of a new $135 million (€123.5 million) investment.

AMD said it intends to make the investment over a four-year period with financing to be used to fund a number of R&D projects.
