With over 24,000 workers, billions of dollars’ worth of annual sales and operations around the globe, Amgen is one of the world’s largest biotech companies. While it has a major manufacturing base in Dún Laoghaire, where it has over 700 staff, most of its work is focused on producing medical treatments which are sold outside of Ireland.
