Labour TD Alan Kelly has said he still wants to lead the party and has reignited the row over being denied a chance to run against Brendan Howlin last year.

As Labour gathered for its annual conference in Wexford this weekend, Kelly said the majority of party members believe he should not have been denied a run at the leadership last year.
