Government punished on health and housing ahead of Taoiseach swap

Around 80 per cent of voters in poll say cabinet is handling both issues badly, with public split almost 50/50 over whether country is being run well in general

Around 84 per cent of people believe the government is failing to sort out the housing crisis, according to the latest Business Post/Red C poll.

The poll assessed the attitudes of the public to the government’s performance on key issues such as health, crime, the economy, the cost of living crisis, climate action and the Ukrainian refugee crisis.
