Donald Trump’s political action committee (PAC) spent $40.2 million (€36.4 million) in legal fees incurred by the former US president and witnesses in various legal cases related to him this year alone, according to sources familiar with the matter.
The political group, Save America, is set to disclose the figure in a filing on Monday.
In the US, PACs act for the purpose of raising and spending money to elect and defeat poltical candidates.
