Banks use farm tax break to cut loan arrears

The Sunday Business Post has learned of cases where banks are putting pressure on farmers who are in arrears on their loans to sell off part of their land

Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe is to review a €14 million farm tax break which is being used by banks to cut their farm loan arrears.
