After last weekend’s celebration and much rigorous interrogation of the 1916 Rising, who fears to speak of Easter Week?

There are times when we have to congratulate ourselves. Last weekend in Ireland was one such occasion. The centenary celebrations of 1916 were a remarkable success. The massive parade through Dublin last Sunday brought to the capital a rare display of the state in all its complexity. In particular, the Defence Forces were immaculately turned out and deserve huge credit.
