Social media anger at the news that former Ulster rugby player Paddy Jackson is to join London Irish seems to indicate a shift towards believing alleged victims unconditionally and without scrutiny

Paddy Jackson will join London Irish ahead of their promotion back to the Gallagher Premiership next season. Just over a year ago, the former fly-half Irish had his Irish Rugby Football Union contract revoked in controversial circumstances which resulted in his exile to French side Perpignan.
