The Central Bank fined a former Irish Nationwide executive €23,000 last week. Hardly anybody noticed. And therein lies the problem

The Harvard medical school has identified seven common causes of memory loss. The reasons for forgetfulness are mundane and obvious. Fatigue, medication, sleep disturbance, lack of exercise, stress, depression and excessive alcohol consumption are all cited as explanations for lapses in memory.
