Workday, the software company that announced plans to create 1,000 jobs locally last year, still intends to follow through on its promise, albeit hiring at a slower pace than previously advised.

Speaking last week after the company opened a second office in Dublin, Graham Abell, vice president of software engineering at Workday, stressed the firm is still hiring, with 90 roles open currently.

“Ireland is a strategic location for Workday globally and investment continues here,” Abell told the Business Post.
