A no-deal Brexit could result in serious disruption to the supply of petrol, diesel and kerosene this winter, with rural Ireland likely to be worst affected, importers have warned.

The Irish Petroleum Importers Association (IPIA) said costs for consumers will also rise if World Trade Organization (WTO) tariffs are imposed on products such as kerosene for home heating oil imported from Britain after Brexit.
