Voters face a choice on climate in EU elections, says Eamon Ryan

Climate minister said that the upcoming elections will force the public to decide whether to keep ‘going green’

The issue of climate change is the “central question” in this summer’s European elections, the minister for the environment has said.

Eamon Ryan was responding to reporters at Transport Research Arena (TRA), which kicks off in Dublin today.

Asked if he was worried by indications that newly-elected Taoiseach Simon Harris, is rowing back on climate change, the minister did not specifically refer to the Fine Gael leader.
