Vodafone will pay out more than €2 million in refunds to nearly 75,000 customers who were charged for services even after they cancelled their contracts with the mobile operator.

The company agreed to carry out a review of its billing system following an inquiry from the Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg), and discovered that charges had been levied on some customers after they cancelled their accounts.
