Nearly 75,000 customers were affected by issues including ‘post cancellation charges’ or else were not refunded credits attached to their cancelled accounts
Vodafone will pay out more than €2 million in refunds to nearly 75,000 customers who were charged for services even after they cancelled their contracts with the mobile operator.
The company agreed to carry out a review of its billing system following an inquiry from the Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg), and discovered that charges had been levied on some customers after they cancelled their accounts.
