Virgin Media has questioned the position of RTÉ with regards to its role as both a business partner and rights buyer from the GAA.

The statement from the commercial broadcaster will add to the pressure on RTÉ and the GAA’s position to put several high-profile hurling matches in the last fortnight behind a paywall.
