Dublin’s water and energy infrastructure are at breaking point, senior executives from Eirgrid and Uisce Éireann have warned.

Michael Mahon, chief infrastructure officer with Eirgrid, and Angela Ryan, senior asset strategy manager with Uisce Éireann, were speaking at the National Infrastructure Summit last week, where they highlighted how Dublin’s infrastructure was stretched beyond intended capacity.
