Varadkar: ‘We're heading in the right direction and will build even more homes next year’

The Housing for All progress report showed that key legislation to increase the borrowing capacity of the Housing Finance Agency (HFA) has been delayed into next year

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has hailed what he described as the “real progress” his government is making in tackling the housing crisis but said he would not be tempted into calling an early election on the back of the progress.

The government’s Housing for All plan has targeted to deliver 29,000 homes in 2023.
