US lobby group warns Ireland off doing business with ‘anti-competitive’ China

The US Chamber of Commerce said Ireland must be wary of the ‘national security risks’ posed by China

A senior executive from a powerful US lobby group has cautioned Ireland against doing business with China, warning that the country adopts “anti-competitive practices” and poses “national security risks”.

Marjorie Chorlins, senior vice president for Europe at the US Chamber of Commerce, issued a “note of caution” to Ireland on doing business with China, and warned that US politicians may not look favourably on the growing relationship between Dublin and Beijing.
