Turkish-backed Irish firm aiming to develop gas facilities here

Pardus Energy, an Irish company backed by wealthy Turkish industrialists, is seeking to develop natural gas interests in Ireland, records obtained by The Sunday Business Post show.

It is seeking to develop liquified natural gas here and is looking at developing a floating gas storage unit in Ireland, documents released under the Freedom of Information Act show. It is believed the south-west region is of particular interest.
