Swedbank Robur takes €20 million in Irish healthcare company Uniphar

Uniphar’s share price has fallen from its high of nearly €5 at the start of 2022 to its current price of just below €2.40

Ger Rabbette, Uniphar’s chief executive, the company had, just four years on from its stock market flotation, “already achieved our IPO target of doubling EBITDA within five years.”

Swedbank Robur, one of Scandinavia's largest asset managers, has declared a 3.05 per cent stake in Uniphar, the Irish listed healthcare group.

The value of the Swedbank stake is around €20 million at the time it was acquired, at which point Uniphar’s shares were trading at around €2.50.

Swedbank Robur Fonder is the asset management arm of Swedbank, a Nordic-Baltic banking group based in Sweden, and has assets under management of SEK1.8 billion (€161.9 billion).
