Stripe pumps more than €1.2bn into Irish operation after US fundraise

Payments company founded by Collison brothers in March raised €6.5bn in a funding round that halved its valuation from $95bn to $50bn

Stripe, the payments company founded by the Collison brothers, has pumped more than €1.2 billion into an Irish subsidiary in recent months, having completed a $6.5 billion fundraise in March.

Filings with the Companies Registration Office (CRO) show that Stripe Payments International Holdings Limited, a holding arm of the company headquartered in Dublin, received a payment of $1.37 billion (€1.25 billion) in June from one of its US-based entities, Stripe Laboratories Inc.
