Slack aims to boost Irish staff up to 200
$7 billion tech giant’s co-founder Cal Henderson ‘depressed’ by Brexit but upbeat on firm’s prospects
Cal Henderson, the co-founder and chief technology officer of Slack, one of Silicon Valley’s fastest-growing companies, has described Brexit as “very depressing”.
Henderson also told The Sunday Business Post last week that his business, which was recently valued at $7 billion, hoped to increase its Dublin-based team from more than 100 people to up to 200 staff.
“On a personal level, Brexit is very depressing. We have a terrible president in the US,” Henderson said.
