Sixty one RTÉ staff members were in receipt of a car allowance at the end of 2022, the broadcaster has told the Oireachtas.
Documents sent to members of the Oireachtas media committee, obtained by the Business Post, reveal that employees received a car allowance coming to a cost of €656,651.
The amount received varies per employee from €1,000 to €25,000.
