The Shelbourne Hotel has been sold to Archer Hotel Capital, the owner of the Conrad on Earlsfort Terrace, in a $335 million (€311 million) deal.

In US stock market filing, Kennedy Wilson, the real estate operator and investor, confirmed the sale of the iconic St Stephen’s Green location, along with an office building in Washington and a retail asset in the UK.

In February, the Business Post reported that Kennedy Wilson had agreed a deal of around €230 million for the sale of the 265-bedroom hotel.
