The Slieve Russell Hotel in Cavan has been brought to market by CBRE on behalf of receivers for IBRC

The Slieve Russell Hotel has been put on the market, with the four-star venue guiding at €35 million.

The hotel, founded by Seán Quinn, was once the jewel in the crown of the former billionaire’s hospitality empire.

Quinn established the hotel in 1990 and following the financial crash lost control of the prized-asset when IBRC, formerly called Anglo Irish Bank, took on the hotel in 2011.
