Ryanair takes legal action against An Bord Pleanála

Ryanair is taking legal action against An Bord Pleanála over the planning body’s decision to grant Aer Lingus permission to challenge a new hangar at Dublin Airport.

Fingal County Council approved Ryanair’s revised plans for the €40 million development last December.

In January Ryanair said it was “shocked” that Aer Lingus had tried to block the planning permission.

The airline’s case against An Bord Pleanála is due for mention next month.
