Russian assets hamper Petroneft’s search for auditor of accounts

Oil and gas explorer set to miss next month’s stock exchange accounts deadline with shares in company likely to be suspended

Petroneft, the Dublin headquartered oil and gas explorer, has been unable to find an auditor because of its work in Russia.

Petroneft said in a statement that while it will continue to work to source an auditor, it is “becoming clear” that it will not be able to submit audited accounts for 2022 by the required deadline of June 30 under the rules of stock exchanges AIM and Euronext Growth.
