RTÉ poaches senior Bauer executive to fill vacant commercial director role

RTÉ has poached one of Bauer Media’s top sales executives to be its new commercial director, the Business Post has learned.

Gavin Deans, managing director of Media Central, a company owned by Bauer Media Ireland, will join RTÉ in February 2024 to lead its commercial unit.

Media Central is a media sales house that specialises in radio sales. The firm was acquired by Bauer Media Audio Ireland in September this year.
