RSA bid to overturn former Irish chief’s €1.25m ‘fall guy’ case

An appeal by insurer RSA to overturn a €1.25 million Employment Appeals Tribunal award to its former Irish boss will take at least six days in the Circuit Court.
In June, a tribunal awarded the compensation to Philip Smith, who was suspended as chief executive in late 2013, after a hearing found he had been constructively dismissed.
