Dublin City Council has moved to reprimand high-profile developer Johnny Ronan for sitting on vacant land that is prime for housing.

A Dublin 4 infill site owned by RGRE J&R Appian Limited – which is controlled by Ronan and his son James – was placed on the local authority’s idle property register earlier this month.

No valuation for the site, based at the junction of Appian Way and Upper Leeson Street beside Mitchel House ...
