Revolut has launched eSIM in Ireland, allowing customers to access data plans abroad without unexpected roaming charges.

First launched in the UK in February, the product will allow Revolut customers to top up separate to their usual mobile data allowance, regardless of their plan, in over 100 countries.

The global fintech firm said that it was the first financial institution to launch an e-sim feature in Ireland.
