Reliance on private cars for households living in new-builds poses threat to climate targets
Planning regulator warns that a fifth of all new homes are located in areas dependant on the private car use
The Office of the Planning Regulator has warned the reliance on private cars for transport from a large number of household in new housing will make achieving climate targets “very challenging”.
