Hundreds of workers who have no Garda vetting are granted access to airside areas of Dublin Airport each week.

Construction personnel and subcontractors, as well as delivery people and a range of others, are granted so-called “daily access passes” at a number of security checkpoints around the airport campus without having to undergo the rigid vetting process undergone by permanent airport staff.
