The Qatari banker who is leading a consortium to buy Manchester United is expected to make another bid before the end of this month in what will be the third round of bidding for the club.

Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is one of the favourites to buy the club, which hasn’t won the Premier League since 2013.
