Irish people’s trust in the work of charities continues to suffer as a result of some recent scandals, according to new research.

Just 24 per cent of people feel they can trust Irish charities with nearly a third feeling they can neither trust nor distrust them, according a poll commissioned by the Charities Institute Ireland (CII)
