Public sector pay talks to resume on Tuesday

Unions are set to discuss widespread industrial action on Thursday in the event of a deal not being reached

Talks aimed at reaching a new agreement on public sector pay are to re-commence on Tuesday at the Workplace Relations Commission.

The last pay deal, Building Momentum, lapsed on December 31. Unions are demanding pay rises to match projected inflation and compensate public servants for inflation pressures since 2020.
