PTSB investors will have to wait until 2026 for the lender’s first dividend payout since the financial crash, its chief executive has indicated.

Eamonn Crowley said the bank was likely to wait another two years before returning to dividend payouts – despite the lifting of a crisis-era regulatory block on the practice last December.
